Pegasus Cyber-Shield is a cyber security preparation service based in Cheltenham, United Kingdom. We help UK defence supply chain businesses achieve Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). What data we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect your name, business email address, company name, phone number (if provided), and the information you include in your message.
If you become a client, we additionally collect technical data from your IT environment — including device names, software inventory, user account names, IP addresses, and vulnerability scan results — for the purpose of delivering our services.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use your enquiry data to respond to you, based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries you have initiated. We use client technical data to deliver the services agreed in our contract with you, which is our lawful basis for that processing. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent, and we never sell your data.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry data where no engagement follows is kept for 12 months. Client data is retained for the duration of your engagement plus 12 months. Contracts and financial records are kept for 6 years in line with legal requirements.
